Four Elements Fitness Grand Opening and Fundraiser to Benefit Children Fighting Cancer

Oakland, CaliforniaFighters Against Cancer and Four Elements Fitness join forces to benefit children in the fight against cancer at Four Elements Fitness’ Grand Opening on Sunday January 18, 2015, 12 to 4:00pm, at  the Four Elements Fitness gym located near Lake Merritt at 153 17th Street, Oakland.


The Grand Opening will feature a raffle by Fighters Against Cancer (FAC) to raise money to help local kids pay for medicine, bus fare for doctors’ appointments, and basic necessities every kid needs. For a deeper understanding of the need, read a letter written by Kailani Yee, the 11 year-old brainchild who created the FAC project.

Raffle prizes include: artwork, gym memberships, a tattoo, specialty clothing, and more.  Please contact to contribute funds or prizes for the raffle.  Contributors will be recognized during the event and on the appreciation webpage after the event.

The Grand Opening will also feature an art show presenting the work of local artists Gui KomelMelissa Wyman, and Shawn Tamaribuchi.


Four Elements Fitness is a functional training gym staffed by experts in athletic embodiment at any size, self-defense, and martial arts.


* FAC gives 100% of funds raised directly to children fighting cancer at Children’s Hospital in Oakland or Kaiser Permanente in Oakland; no administrative costs are deducted from donations per special agreement with FAC and the participating organizations.  Tax deductible donations may be made through FAC’s website.  Raffle prizes are not tax deductible.
